Preventative Maintenance - FAQ's

1What types of generators can you service?
We repair and maintain every make and model, including diesel, natural gas, propane, and bi-fuel units. Our ASTT-certified technicians are trained to diagnose and service both modern digital systems and older mechanical sets.
2How often should preventative maintenance be scheduled?
Most generators require at least semi-annual maintenance to meet federal safety standards. For mission-critical facilities, quarterly or monthly inspections may be recommended to ensure absolute reliability.
3Can you provide service during maintenance downtime?
Yes. If your generator needs to be taken offline, we can supply a temporary backup unit so your operations continue without interruption.
4Do you cover load bank testing and fluid analysis?
Absolutely. Our preventative maintenance programs include annual resistive load bank testing, fluid sampling and analysis, coolant and oil service, and other critical checks to verify performance under real operating conditions.
5How quickly can you respond to emergency calls?
Our mobile fleet operates 24/7 across BC. In the Lower Mainland we can typically respond within two hours, with same-day or next-day service available for Vancouver Island, the Sea-to-Sky corridor, and beyond.
6Do you service automatic transfer switches (ATS) as well as gensets?
Yes. We provide full ATS inspection, testing, and maintenance as part of our programs, ensuring seamless transfer between utility and generator power.
7What areas do you service?
We serve customers across British Columbia, including the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, Interior, and Sea-to-Sky regions. With over 700 customers province-wide, our coverage is both broad and dependable.
